Primary Teacher Training

Having had years of experience as a Drama teacher, theatre maker, facilitator and professional performer I have lots of expertise and techniques to share with primary teachers who want to use more drama to bring curriculum topics to life. From Teacher-in-Role to hot-seating, and from thought-tapping to forum theatre I can introduce teachers to a range of techniques that can be applied to a wealth of different topics, helping them build their confidence in delivering a truly creative curriculum.

A two hour twilight or INSET training session for up to 15 teaching staff costs £150 (plus travel expenses).

11+ Workshops

Having had experience as a GCSE and A Level examiner as well as creating and performing devised pieces from scratch, I have also been lucky enough to learn from companies such as Frantic Assembly, Complicite, Forced Entertainment, Kneehigh and The Paper Birds through my masters degree and further training. I run tailor-made devising and physical theatre workshops for key stages 3-5.

Secondary Teacher Training

For those teaching Drama for the first time or for those seeking to extend and develop ways of working with young people in fresh creative ways, a two-hour workshop exploring approaches into devising and shaping/crafting work can be booked.
